Tooro United piled more misery on KCCA as they defeated them 1-0 in one of the Uganda Premier League games played on Wednesday.
The victory is Tooro United’s 6th for the season and have now collected nine points from six games. They beat Busoga United in the opener before coming from a goal down to topple URA FC.
Charles Musiige’s 74th minute goal was all that separated the sides as 10-man Tooro United beat the Kasasiro boys.
Tooro Captain Kawooya was given his marching orders in the 31st minute for handball after he kept out Odumegwu’s volley off the line.
Mike Mutyaba took the responsibility for the penalty but goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige denied him the chance to score.
Three minutes later, Mutyaba was brought down by Samuel Luswata in the box but still Meddie Kibirige denied Allan Okello from the spot.
KCCA would have equalized or probably had an early lead but debutant John Odumegwu shot an inch off the post.
Tooro united host new league entrants Kyetume Fc on the 5th of October while KCCA FC welcome Bright Stars.
