BUL 2-0 Maroons Fc

BUL FC edged Maroons FC 2-0 in the Star Times Uganda Premier League at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru on Tuesday.

Robert Mukongotya scored twice for the hosts to send BUL on top of the log.

Mukongotya struck in the 18th minute before sealing the victory in the 90th minute.

This is the club’s fourth victory after beating Express FC, Police FC and Wakiso Giants. Their only loss came against Busoga United in a Jinja derby, 0-3.

The loss ends Douglas Bamweyana’s impressive run that had seen the club, after falling 3-0 to URA in their opener, win three games – Kyetume, Tooro and Bright Stars – in a row.

Maroons will seek for solace against Onduparaka on match day seven while BUL will seek to extend their form when they visit URA FC at Namboole.
