KCCA FC vs Paradou AC

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that four Eswatini nationals will be in charge of KCCA FC’s home game against Algeria’s Paradou AC in the Confederations Cup.
The Kasasiros will host Paradou this Sunday, October 27th, in the first leg of the tie at StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
Thulani Sibandze will be the center referee and will be assisted by Sifiso Nxumalo and Petros Mzikayifani Mbingo.
Thembinkosi Njabulo Dlamini also from Eswatini will be the fourth official while South Sudan’s Begi Rasas Sebit Librato Librato will be the Match Commissioner.
KCCA FC initially competed in the CAF Champions League but were dropped in the Confederations Cup after losing on away goals to Angola’s Petro de Luanda.
The winner between KCCA FC and Paradou over two legs will qualify for the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup while the loser will bow out of the competition.
After Sunday, the two will face off in the return leg that will be played on Sunday, October 3rd in Algeria.
Meanwhile, Paradou arrived in Uganda ahead on Friday.
The Algerians came in bunches – the first group of 19 people arrived at Entebbe International airport on Friday morning at 7am while the second bunch is expected to check in on Saturday at 3am.
A contingent of 34 people – 20 players and 14 officials – is expected to be in the country by Sunday and will reside at Lake Victoria Hotel, Entebbe.
To reach this stage, Paradou eliminated Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien.
