SCVilla drew with Jinja based Busoga United 1-1 in the Uganda premier League on Saturday at the Mighty Arena.
The hosts saw the back of the net early enough in the 18th minute through Boban Zirintusa who converted from the spot after Joel Madondo was bought down in the area.
With ten minutes to the final whistle, SC Villa drew level through substitute Emmanuel Wasswa.
Wasswa who is a former Ndejje University FC captain capitalized on a poor clearance by the hosts’ defence to bundle into the back of the net.
Earlier, Madondo could have doubled the home side’s lead but his effort rattled the cross bar.
It should be noted that Busoga United now has no win in its three last matches.
SC Villa is now third on the table with 12 points while Busoga United are 9th with 7 points.
