Uganda Premier League

Kyetume Vs Proline

Mandela National Stadium

@4:30pm

It’s a battle between new league entrants as Kyetume FC host Proline FC in the Uganda Premier League at Namboole.

This will be the first-ever league meeting between the two sides but they did clash in the Stanbic Uganda Cup last season with Proline winning a penalty shootout at Lugogo

The visitors have lost three league games in a row and are rooted at the log with zero points after they were docked six points for dishonoring their game against SC Villa.

Kyetume will be looking forward to build on their last 1-0 win against Bright Stars at Wankulukuku which placed them in 10th position on the log with as many points from seven games.

Team news

Proline are expected to bank on Edirisa Lubega for goals with reports that striker Ivan Bogere has gone AWOL at the club.

Coach George William Best Nsimbe will rely on the experience of team captain Vincent Kayizzi, on form Isejja Deo and Saaka Sharif.

Match Facts

Kyetume has lost thrice this season, against Maroons, Police and Express FC and drew against URA.

Kyetume will be looking for their fourth win of the season after beating Villa, Tooro United and Bright Stars.

Proline have only managed to register two wins against Onduparaka and Express which points were used to clear the fine.

This is going to be the first game between these two clubs in the super league.
