Police FC Vs BUL FC – 4:30PM
Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakissha

Police FC will open there account against Bul FC at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in one of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League games to be played on Wednesday.

Police FC will start League campaign on a low note after being deducted three points by the FUFA disciplinary committee.

Abdullah Mubiru’s side was in Kenya for EAPCCO games and failed to honour their league opener against Onduparaka FC.

FUFA’s disciplinary committee has consequently ruled that Police lost their game against Onduparaka by forfeiture and have been deducted three points in the process.

According to the letter released, FUFA found Police FC guilty of failing to respond to the charges (failing to turn up at Luzira Prisons ground for league game vs Onduparaka) in allocated time of 48 hours.

“Police FC lose the match against Onduparaka by forfeiture and be docked three points and three from those to be accumulated in accordance with article 24 par 10 of the rules.” The letter reads.

Team news

Police start this season without their last season’s key players Juma Balinya and Paul Willa who left the club for greener pastures.

They will therefore rely on the services of Rubben Kimera, Samuel Kayongo, Ben Ocen and new additions that include Henry Katongole and Denis Rukundo among others

The visitors.come into this game after beating Express FC 1-0 in their season opener at Njeru last Saturday.

Deogracious Ojok who scored the only goal against Express and Hamis Tibita will be the only hope for BUL to go past Police.

Match facts

Both teams have so far met 8 times in the league.

Police has lost twice, won three and drawn the other three.
