KAMPALA – Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) officially confirmed the signing of Ntege Anwar Mustafa from relegated Ndejje University Football Club.

Ntege is understood to have put pen to paper on a three-year deal, with an option of a one-year renewal.

The forward helped Ndejje attain promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League in 2018 and was part of the very team that was relegated last season.

Last season, he was Ndejje University’s top scorer with seven (7) goals but couldn’t help them avoid the drop.

Ntege has also previously featured at Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos.

Moments after signing for the Tax Collectors, this is what Ntege had to say;

“It feels great to be signing for a club like URA FC.

“It is a challenge for me but I need such challenges in my life so that I better my career.

“The club (URA FC) has good players like Shafik Kagimu and I will be looking forward to playing with them.

Making a transition from a relegation team to a championship challenger is always not easy but Ntege is not fazed as he targets reaching the National team.

“I want to be the top scorer in the Uganda Premier League and also make it to the National team and coming to URA FC, I do believe it is the right club for me to achieve my goals.

URA FC finished third on the Uganda Premier league log with 51 points in the just-concluded season.
