Kenya vs Senegal
30 June Air Defence Stadium, Cairo
Monday, 01-07-2019 @10pm

All eyes will be on group C on Monday night when Senegal and Kenya via for a slot to join Algeria in the knockout stages of the 2019 edition.

Senegal suffered a narrow defeat in their previous contest with Algeria and now need to beat Kenya in their group C game to progress to the next round.

Kenya twice came from behind against Tanzania to win 3-2 to keep their hopes of progressing to the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations alive. The victory put Kenya level on points with Senegal in the group but are behind on goal difference.

The Harambee Stars will look up to Michael Olunga who netted a brace against East African neighbours Tanzania alongside captain Victor Wanyama for inspiration.

Sadio Mane, Keita Balde and Kalidou Koulibaly are expected to lift up the Lions of Teranga. They will, however, miss the services of Salif Sane after the ankle injury he picked up against Tanzania.

The winner of the contest between Senegal and Kenya will advance to the last 16 of the continental showpiece.

The loser will face an anxious wait to see if they progress as one of the best third-placed teams while a draw will also be enough to send Aliou Cisse’s side through.

-South Africa vs Morocco @8pm

-Tanzania vs Algeria @10pm
