
Paidha Black Angels 0-1 Vipers Sc
The Black Angels fall to Vipers SC 0-1 in one of the five StarTimes Uganda Premier league games played on Wednesday.
Brian Nkuubi taped in from Ibrahim Tembo’s long throw to give Vipers an early goal in the 18th minute.
The venoms missed a couple of chances when they got fouled around the penalty area but the free kicks were cleared by Paidah defenders.
In the 25minute the relegated side won a free kick but Henry Katongole cleared the ball.
Andrew Kidega tried to shot the ball but his efforts went wide in the 31st minute to deny Paidah an equalizer.
Both teams got more chances to score especially the visitors who missed a couple of chances when Duncan Sseninde saw a curling shot go inches wide in the 37th minute.
In the 58th minute Tom Masiko as well missed a one on one with the keeper Pius Dibala as he stirred his effort wide.
Dan Serunkuma twisted his ankle and paved way for Uganda cranes player Hamis Diego Kiiza in the 61th minute.
Brian Nkuubi and Taddeo Lwanga were cautioned by the referee for fouling.
Vipers made another change later on by taking off Tom Masiko for Joseph Janjali.
Both clubs remain in the current positions, Vipers in the 2nd with 56points while Paidhha is already relegated but with 13points and sit in the 16th place.
Brian Nkuubi was the voted Man of the match having scored the lone goal of the day.
