Maroons 0-1 Villa

16- time league champions ScVilla edged Maroons 0-1 at the Prisons Grounds in a StarTimes Uganda Premier game on Tuesday.

Ronald Magwali scored the all-important goal for the Jogoos who now move five points above the drop zone with two games left to end the season.

The winner arrived in the 22nd minute for the midfielder turned forward who scored his third goal in five games.

Prior to the game, SC Villa had drawn goalless against rivals for survival, Ndejje University at Namboole while Maroons had literally secured safety with a 4-0 win at Nyamityobora.

Douglas Bamweyana’s charges are now on 31 points in 13th place while Maroons are one place better with a point above.
