LUZIRA – Survival for  the fittest as Maroons FC host SC Villa at the prisons grounds in Luzira in one of the four StarTimes Uganda Premier League games on Tuesday.

With 28 points, the Jogoos are just three points above the drop and still under pressure to survive.

Maroons FC who are also yet to confirm their survival got a sigh of relief over the weekend after a 4-0 win against Nyamityobora FC, who joined Paidha Black Angels as the two teams that have confirmed relegation.

The ultimate target for both Maroons FC and SC Villa on Tuesday will be to win and brighten their chances having it in mind that Ndejje University FC will be hosting KCCA FC in Bombo.

Team News

Bronson Nsubuga, Eddy Kapampa and Solomon Walusimbi have had good performance for Maroons FC in recent engagements and will be key for Luzira based outfit against SC Villa.

For Douglas Bamweyana’s side, Bashir Mutanda and Pius Wangi have had a fall in form but will hope to gain the scoring touch on Tuesday.

Ndahiro derrick and kalyowa Emmanuel are the only injured players SC Villa has the rest are ready to feature for Bamweyana.

Match facts

The first leg fixture at Mandela National stadium ended in a one all draw.

Maroons are 12th with 32 points while SC Villa is 13th with only 28 games in 27 matches played.
