Onduparaka Vs Villa

GreenLight Stadium

Wednesday @4:30pm

ARUA – Onduparaka FC host SC Villa at the GreenLight Stadium as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues.

The Caterpillars won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Namboole courtesy of Rashid Toha free kick inside the first minute.

The hosts will be favourites going into the game as SC Villa have not won in four games losing the previous two at home to Kirinya and away to KCCA FC.

Unlike SC Villa, Onduparaka have won two of the previous five games losing just one.

What the coaches say.

Douglas Bamweyana (SC Villa)

“We are aware of what is at stake, results haven’t been going our way and we need to correct the mistakes and get back to winning ways.

“The weather and pitch are humid and we have the confidence that victory is achievable.

Team news:

Pius Wanji and Bashir Mutanda will be vital to the Jogoos attack as they seek to open a sizeable gap between them and the relegation. Habib Kavuma will not take part in the match after sustaining an injury while training but the other members of the squad are available for selection.

Onduparaka’s Nicholas Ssebwato will serve his first of the two match suspension that was slapped on him for misconduct in Onduparaka’s goalless draw with Vipers. Rashid Toha has been ruled out of the game by injury.

This will be the sixth top flight meeting between the two sides.
