Draws for the second edition of the Kabira football tournament were held on Friday, March 22rd at Kabira country club in Bukoto.
There will be 20 teams participating in this tournament that is aimed at promoting football, fitness and strengthening the relationship among the companies.
“We would like to thank the teams that have registered and sponsors that include Hisense together with Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) for the technical support. The objective of the tournament is to promote football since it’s a great sport and also a tool for networking among the companies” said Mr.Rakesh Hurrycurn, General Manager Kabira Country Club.
“When organisations come together and take on football as something we can push forward. This is the second year we are partnering with Kabira and are always open to any organisation when it comes to football because it’s our country.” Said Esther Musoke Marketing Manager FUFA.
The one -day tournament will take place on 31st March at Kabira Country club with over 20 teams in the various groups and the winner will take Shs 1,000,000, first runners up Shs 500,000 and the 2nd runners up Shs 300,000

The winners for Kabira tournament 2018 was prozone comprised of former football professionals that included Hassan Mubiru, Hakim Magumba, Kizito Nisteroy among others.
