Express to face Bul in Uganda Cup quarter finals

Stanbic Uganda Cup 2018/19 

Quarter final 

-Kyetume VS Wakiso Giants – Nakisunga Ssaza play ground

-Proline VS Vipers – Star Times Stadium

-Express VS BUL – Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium

-Nebbi Central VS Bright Stars – Nebbi

MENGO – Record Uganda Cup winners Express FC will host Bul FC at the BetWay Mutessa II Stadium in the quarter finals of this years’ competition.

This was confirmed on Wednesday morning at the FUFA House in Mengo were the draws were conducted.

To get to this stage, Express required penalties to eliminate Police at the round of 16 while Bul defeated Bukedea Town Council.

The match between the two sides will be the third meeting between them this season with Bul holding the upper hand having collected four points from the two league Match-ups.

For last year’s losing finalists-Vipers SC, they will take on Big League side Proline FC at Lugogo.

Vipers required a late Abraham Ndugwa goal to overcome Kiboga Young in the last round while Proline eliminated Onduparaka.

In the other draws, Big League Money Bags-Wakiso Giants will take on Kyetume while Nebbi Central play host to Bright Stars.

The four games are to be played between 9th and 12th of March.

The Uganda Cup winner represents the country at the CAF Confederation Cup.
