Maroons Vs Onduparaka

Prisons grounds Luzira

@4pm

LUZIRA – Wounded Maroons FC welcome Onduparaka at Luzira Prisons Grounds on Wednesday as the Startimes Uganda Premier League continues.

Asaph Mwebaze will face his former paymasters for the first time since he became head coach to Onduparaka FC at the start of the season.

Maroons under George Best Nsimbe and the Legendary David Obua have not had a good season so far because they have not won in 6 games so far played.

Maroons are yet to taste victory this season whereas Onduparaka had a great start to the campaign before blowing hot and cold in the previous fixtures.

Team news.

Rashid Agau and Solomon Walusimbi are expected to inspire Nsimbe’s charges to their first win of the season. The duo scored during Maroons’ 2-2 all draw with Police at StarTimes Stadium.

Ceasor Okhuti, Viane Sekajugo and skipper Rashid Toha are expected to fire the visitors to maximum points.

Match Facts.

Last season when the two sides faced off at Luzira Prisons grounds, Onduparaka edged Maroons 2-0 and the reverse fixture in Arua ended in a barren stalemate.

Maroons are bottom on the log of 16 with 2 points collected while Onduparaka lies in 6th position with 10 points.

Victory for the Prisons side will see them move from the bottom to 13th place whereas maximum points for Onduparaka will lift them to third place on the table.
