This was during the launch of the tournament at the breweries head quarters in Luzira on Monday morning.

At the same event, draws for the tournament have also been drawn.

With Vipers deciding not to participate due to other pre-season engagements, they have been replaced by Police FC who will square off with SC Villa.

Reigning Uganda Cup champions KCCA FC will take on Jinja based side, Kirinya JSS in the tournament opener on Saturday at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.

The winner of the tournament will scoop 10 million in total cash prize money while the second walks away with 5 million.
