Wadada, Karisa, Tabu to miss FUFA Drum quarter finals first leg

The FUFA Drum quarter finals start this weekend

FUFA Drum 2018:

Quarterfinals 1st leg (All Matches Kick-off at 4pm)

Saturday 30th June

-Bugisu vs West Nile – Mbale Municipal Stadium

-Ankole vs Busoga – Kakyeeka Stadium

-Bukedi vs Acholi – Pallisa Hospital Play ground

Sunday 1st July

-Buganda vs Kampala – Mukono Bishops Play Ground

The FUFA Drum Tournament resumes this weekend with four quarter final 1st leg fixtures.

On Saturday 30th June three matches will be played while the other will take place the following day, Sunday 1st July.

Bugisu hosts West Nile at the Mbale Municipal Stadium in a game that will be broadcasted live on   UBC magic one TV.

West Nile will miss the services of their team captain Vitalis Tabu because of injury while Bugisu  will miss Vipers’ Milton Karisa and Nico Wakiro Wadada- Azam FC ‘s newly signed player both of whom are in Tanzania for the 2018 CECAFA  Kagame cup.

“I did not manage to travel because of injury but hope to be around for the return leg, Tabu said.

Meanwhile, In the other matches, Ankole hosts Busoga at the Kakyeeka stadium while Bukedi will face Acholi at the Pallisa Hospital  playground.

Buganda and Kampala will face off on Sunday as the only game to be played on the day at the Mukono Bishops playground.

The Chairman of the FUFA Drum Committee Rogers Byamukama confirmed that the knock out stage will be shown live on UBC Magic One.

“we have made arrangements and the knock outs will be broadcasted live on UBC Magic One so that people could see that FUFA Drum is the next big thing in Uganda, Said Byamukama.

The tournament is being played among the 16 provinces of Uganda under the theme “Celebrating our ancestry”.
