Nseenene 0-2 Ngabi Nsamba

Mutessa II War Memorial Stadium, Wankulukuku

Monday, 11-06-2018

Nseene’s hopes of impressing in this edition of Bika football tournament came to a climax after falling 0-2 to Ngabi Nsamba at the Mutesa II stadium on Monday evening.

Goals from Nicholas Kasozi and Joshua Kawadwa earned Ngabi Nsamba a desired victory against opponents to set another a

playing date.

Hardly four minutes into the game, Sports Club Villa’s Nicholas Kasozi put Ngabi into the lead with a superb strike that left Nseene’s shot stopper Mpagi helpless.

Sam Kawalya’s coached team Nseenene resorted to hunting for an equaliser but the visitors were equal to all challenges.

From the break, Simon Mugerwa’s Ngabi changed to a defensive minded approach giving hard time to the hosts.

In the 63rd minutes, Joshua Kawadwa doubled the lead for Ngabi Nsamba which iced the lead.

This showed that the hosting team Nseenene were not going to survive the crumble.

After the final whistle, Ngabi Nsamba bagged maximum points and progressed to the next stage while Nseenene withdrew from the competition.
