Kawempe Muslim booked a place in the finals of this years FUFA Women Elite League after defeating Kampala Queens in the play offs on Thursday.
The two teams played out a draw in the game played at the star times Stadium but Kawempe Muslim got to the finals winning the penalty shoots out 5-7.
Kampala Queens got more scoring opportunities on the day and they took the lead through second half substitute Benson Lillian Akello.
Akello went past defender Rehema Adubango before slotting into the net.
Midfielder Tracy Jones levelled matters for Kawempe to send the game into spot kicks.
Winnie Babirye missed the first penalty despite centre referee ordering her to retake but Kawempe goal keeper Juliet Adeke saved on both occasions.
Kawempe were able to convert all their penalties to reach Fourth successive final.
Olila High school who defeated Gafford Ladies will be facing Kawempe in the finals on Saturday at Wankulukuku stadium.
Olila high school was the first to score the only lone goal through Norah Alupo.
Gafford will be facing Kampala Queens to fight for the third position where as Kawempe Muslim and Olila high school will play the final a match .
