The Uganda National foot ball team, the Cranes started preparations ahead of the upcoming camp in Niger on Tuesday morning at startimes stadium in Lugogo.
The trainings are to help them build up on the two matches between Niger and Central Africa Republic.
Only six foreign based players attended training on the first day and these include Hassan Wasswa and Isaac Muleme from Egypt, Salim Jamal from Sudan, Murushid Juuko from Tanzania, Khalid Aucho from India and Allan Kateregga from South Africa.
On Wednesday they were joined by KCCA’s Charles Lukwago and William Kizito.
Allan Kateregga who was summoned by the head coach was all smiles after being called for national duty.
“I’m very happy and privileged to be called for international duty and take the call with both hands, said Kateregga.
The team continues training on Thursday with early morning sessions at Lugogo.
More foreign based players are expected to be part for Thursday session.
The team is also expected to depart on Saturday night ahead of Tuesdays opening match.
The two international build ups are part of the preparations for the AFCON 2019 qualifiers that resume in September 2018.

Defenders: Denis Iguma (Al Nabi Shayth), Nicholas Wadada (Vipers), Murushid Jjuuko (Simba SC), Bevis Mugabi (Yeovil Town), TimothyAwanyi (KCCA), Isaac Muleme (Assiouty) and Godffrey Walusimbi (Gor Mahia).
Midfielders: Joseph Ochaya (Lusaka Dynamos), Hassan Wasswa (El Geish), Khalid Aucho (East Bengal), Tadeo Lwanga (Vipers, Milton Karisa (Vipers), Allan Kateregga (Cape Town City), Farooq Miya (Standard Liege), Moses Opondo (Vendsyssel).
