Proline vs Onduparaka
StarTimes stadium, Lugogo
Wednesday 04-04-2018
Relegation-threatened Proline will look to overcome Onduparaka at the StarTimes stadium in order to kick start their survival bid.
The Lugogo-based Proline go into the fixture second from bottom with 19 points from 22 games and after Express FC lost 2-0 at Kirinya yesterday, a win for Proline will see them move out of the relegation zone for the first time in over a month.
Onduparaka today come in the form of a side that has struggled immensely in the second round, winning only two games so far.
The Arua-based side who sat on top of the league after seven games have seen their form detoriate and will also be seeking all three points that may rejuvenate their season.
“We have tried our best to prepare the team ahead of the clash with Onduparaka, said Proline head coach Mujibu Kasule ahead of today’s game.
“Our main focus has been on the scoring department because that has been our biggest problem.
“We know it is not going to be easy against them (Onduparaka) because they work hard and they are well coached and supported.
“We have to play our A game if we are to get all three points that we so much crave.
Proline will be welcoming back three players in Saidi Keni, Joshua Okirol and Mustapha Mujuzi who took part in the U20 Hippos qualification game on Saturday against South Sudan.
Mujibu’s side will be without Ivan Bukenya who left for Swedish side FC Likoping City and Sam Kintu who is out injured. Sula Matovu will be assessed to see if he can make the match day squad as he is carrying a slight knock.
