FOOTBALL–KCCA FC will be boosted by the return to fitness of star midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma as they host Bright Stars at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo to.

Saddam Juma has not featured in the league for the Kasasiro boys due to persistant injuries since his controversial move from Express in April.

His only official games for KCCA came in the CAF Confederation cup against FUS Rabat and Club African and since then, he has been struggling for fitness.

“I feel I am in the best condition now to play for KCCA although am not yet back to 100%,” said Saddam Juma at the pre-game press conference.

“I am happy about the team’s perfomance so far and hopefully I can come in and help the lads so as we reach the desired goals.

Isaac Muleme will be joining Saddam Juma as another returnee in the game tomorrow after his compassionate leave expired.

Muleme lost one of his new born twins last week and was given the whole of last week off but is back and took part in the last training.

That leaves the likes of Muzaimr Mutyaba, Peter Magambo, Paul Musamali, Filbert Obenchan, Patrick Kaddu, Jackson Nunda, Derrick Nsibambi and Hassan Wasswa Dazo all still out injured with Shaban Muhammad yet to get clearance to play.

Fred Kajoba, the Bright Stars coach, said: “We are fortunate that all players are available so we have a huge lot to choose from.

“It has not always been easy against KCCA because we have been loosing home and away against them in the previous seasons but hopefully we can change those stats tomorrow,” he added.

Mike Mutebi, the KCCA FC coach, said they will attack and try to score as many as possible.

“We have Saddam Juma back and it’s a great thing for us and I also know he can’t wait to get started in the league,” Mutebi said.
