FOOTBALL–Defending league champions KCCA FC will seek to return to winning ways on a Saturday trip away trip to Jinja based BUL FC.

The Kasasiro boys drew 0-0 with URA in their last game, meaning they have won only once this season.
The Lugogo-based side will have to do without over 10 first team players due to different issues ranging from injury, family commitments to ineligiblity.

Muzaimr Mutyaba, Peter Magambo, Paul Musamali, Filbert Obenchan, Patrick Kaddu, Saddam Juma, Jackson Nunda, Derrick Nsibambi and Hassan Wasswa Dazo are all injured.

Isaac Muleme lost a child so he was given a compassionate leave and Shaban Muhammad is yet to be cleared to play for the Kasasiro boys.

“Have a whole team out for tomorrow’s game against Bul but we are not in position to use that as an excuse,” said Mike Mutebi at the pre-match press conference.

“When you are a two-time league defending champion, you are expected to have a big squad like we do and people expect you to always win no matter what,” he added.

Mutebi said it is going to be hard against Bul because they are so organised defensively but said his side will work hard to grab all the three points.

Bul are indeed strong defensively having so far conceded a league joint second low of only two goals this season and With Kefa Kisala at the helm, you can be sure that will not change anytime soon.
