FOOTBALL–Police FC have continued the revamp of their squad with the capture of versatile defender Denis Bigala.

Bigala who was a free agent after his contract with Proline where he had spent six years expired becomes the Cops’ 11th summer signing and joins up with former team mates Gift Ali and Rahmat Ssenfuka.

Police confirmed the signing through a tweet.

Coach Abdallah Mubiru comfirmed to PML Daily last week that his side was in the market hunting for a right back and it seems he has landed on one with experience to help turn around the fortunes of the club from last season’s relegation woes.

“I worked with Mubiru at Proline sometime back and you can trust i am looking foward to being part of his squad for the up coming season ” Bigala said.

Police are set for up coming friendlies against champions KCCA on Tuesday and URA later this week before a training camp in Jinja where they will play other friendly games.
