Uganda vs Zimbabwe

Saturday at Legends Grounds

RUGBY–The Uganda Rugby Cranes team to play Zimbabwe in the last game of the 2017 African Gold Cup tournament has been named.

Uganda has nothing to play for at the moment with Namibia having won the tournament last weekend in their 45-7 drubbing of Kenya.

Uganda and Zimbabwe who are both safe from relegation will take part in one of the final games in the group aiming to finish this year’s edition on a high.

Justin Kimono, who has been out with a hamstring injury, has been passed fit and is set to take part in the game from the start.

James Odong, who missed the heavy defeat at the hands of Namibia due to injury, has also returned to the starting 15.

Byron Oketayot will wear Number 6 shirt as Ronald Musajja is dropped to the bench.

In other changes made by John Duncan and Robert Sseguya, Philip Wokorach, who converted the third of Uganda’s three tries against Namibia, will don the number 10 jersey with Ivan Mogomu relegated to the bench due to a niggling injury.

Lawrence Ssebuliba will move from 14 to 11 with Justin Kimono replacing him at the centre of the pitch, while debutant try-maker Eric Mula retains his spot on the bench.
