FOOTBALL–Ahead of the upcoming Uganda Premier League season that starts next month KCCA FC have launched their season tickets and their prices in a press briefing at their home in Lugogo.

Last season KCCA FC’s season ticket went for UGX300 attracting criticism from several fans who claimed that they could not afford the amount.
But this time round the club has broken down the tickets into three categories, with premium, VIP and ordinary.

The Rwenzori/premium will cost fans UGX500,000 with several benefits like touring the Rwenzori mountain included.
“Our premium season ticket holders will have a special treat during the games and will also have unlimited access to the players and training sessions,” club CEO Josephin Namukisa said.

Namukisa also assured the Mountain Moroto/VIP season ticket holders that they will be given free refreshment at every game and will also have a tour of the moutain within the season. The VIP ticket will cost UGX300,000.

The third and final season ticket will be the ordinary which they have named Muhavura and it will cost UGX10,000. With this ticket, the holder will tour the Muhavura peak once during the season.

The season ticket enables a fan to watch all home games, including the continental and cup ties. So KCCA seasonal ticket fans will be able to watch more than 20 games with their club competing in three different tournaments.

Application for the tickets is already underway and they will be issued at the start of next month.

Club chairperson Aggrey Ashaba also clarified on the annual fans gala slated for late this month.
” Later this month, we will be holding the annual fans gala at the Star Times stadium and this time round we will have other events, including aerobics and blood donation on top of the usual football matches between the fans clubs from different regions across the country,” Ashaba said.
