Early Life
Born Bbaale Frank Kanubra at St. Francis Nsambya Hospital, MC Stubborn is the son of the late Nakirijja Sylvia Mariam and Mr. Mayanja Vincent.
Growing up in Katwe, a suburb of Kampala, Stubborn was raised by his grandmother, Nakyejwe Gladys, from childhood to adolescence. His upbringing in Katwe played a significant role in shaping his personality and comedic style.
Education
MC Stubborn’s academic journey began at Nsambya Parents Nursery School in Katwe, where he laid the foundation for his future education. He then attended Water Bucks Primary School in Kawempe for his primary education, acquiring essential skills and knowledge. Later, he joined Kinaawa High School, also in Kawempe, for his Ordinary and Advanced levels, further honing his skills and preparing himself for the challenges ahead.
Rise to Fame
MC Stubborn’s entry into comedy was met with initial discouragement when friends laughed at his content. Undeterred, he persevered, creating various characters, including men, women, boys, and girls. As he continued producing content, his videos started gaining views, attracting a massive following on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
His breakthrough came in early 2021 when his TikTok videos went viral, catapulting him to fame. This milestone marked the beginning of his successful comedic career.
Career Goal
MC Stubborn’s ultimate goal is to become one of Uganda’s top online comedians. He aspires to endorse prominent companies and serve as a brand ambassador through his craft, leveraging his comedic talent to make a lasting impact. Achieving this goal requires continued support from his fans, who have been instrumental in his journey thus far.
