Ochola names new Flying Squad boss, transfers 42 CID officers

KAMPALA: The Inspector General of Police John Martins Okoth-Ochola has appointed a new commander for the Flying Squad.

The document affirming the appointments and transfers

In a police message released Monday night by the Human Resources Department, Mr Peter Kakonge has been named the new commander replacing ACP Hebert Muhangi who was dropped a month ago.

In other changes, Mr. Isaac Oketcho will head the transactional crimes unit while Hosea Manyindi is the new head of media crimes.

42 CID and Flying Squad commanders have been transferred
