Police raids Kisenyi, recovers 20 suspected stolen motorcycles, 6 arrested

KAMPALA – Police in Kampala on Tuesday evening raided Kisenyi along Ring Road in Central Kampala and recovered 20 suspected stolen motorcycles and arrested six suspects.

According to police, the operation was after a tip-off by intelligence agencies that the shop is being used as a base for buying and selling suspected stolen motorcycles.

The arrested suspects who include Assumani Sitakage, Muhagizi Daus, Ssegirinya Haby, Muwesi Ismail, Faruak Ssekyedu and Kawuki Gibson are currently detained at Kampala Central Police Station on charges of being in possession of suspected stolen properties.
