KAMPALA – Police in Wandegeya has on June 19 arrested a notorious car thief around Bat Valley on Bombo Road.
The suspect who has been identified as Mr. Peter Ssemujju allegedly stole a motor vehicle registration number UAH 886J on Bombo Road.
Police say as he was driving away, he knocked another vehicle hence his arrest.
According to police, he was found with master keys upon searching him thereafter confessed to the act.
Mr. Ssemujju is currently detained at Wandegeya Police Station, and he will be charged with stealing a motor vehicle.
