KAMPALA – The East Africa Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Peter Amenkhieman, has commended the church’s progress in Uganda, citing its remarkable spiritual maturity, unity, and growth. The praise came after a successful four-day national convention held at the RCCG national headquarters in Namuwongo, Kampala.
The convention, which drew hundreds of participants, featured teachings, worship sessions, leadership training, and youth-focused forums. Pastor Amenkhieman attributed the church’s success to strong leadership, deep community ties, and a commitment to social development.
Pastor Monye-Akinshipe Olubunmi Olushola, the National Coordinator of RCCG Uganda, has played a crucial role in the church’s growth, overseeing the establishment of 32 parishes nationwide and serving over 15,000 congregants. The church has also expanded its community outreach programs, including educational initiatives, vocational training, and health outreach programs.
The overseer encouraged Ugandan church members to remain steadfast, support their leaders, and build a generation that lives by biblical values and community service. He emphasized the church’s role in community transformation, particularly in addressing socio-economic challenges.
The RCCG’s progress in Uganda serves as a model for faith-based institutions, demonstrating the impact of commitment to service, truth, and compassion. With its strong foundation and community-focused initiatives, the RCCG in Uganda is poised for continued growth and impact.
