Kampala, Uganda – The wait is finally over for thousands of Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) candidates, parents, and schools across the country. The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release the 2024 PLE results today, amidst high anticipation and expectation.
The results, which will be released at the Office of the President, will mark the culmination of months of hard work and dedication by the candidates, teachers, and parents. The PLE is a critical examination that determines the future academic trajectory of Ugandan students, with those performing well earning coveted spots in top secondary schools.
According to UNEB officials, the examination process was smooth, with over 700,000 candidates sitting for the exams in November last year. The board has assured the public that the results will be accurate and reflect the true performance of the candidates.
As the results are released, candidates, parents, and schools will be eagerly waiting to know how they performed. The results will also provide valuable insights into the country’s education system, highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
The Minister of Education and Sports is expected to preside over the release of the results, which will be broadcast live on national television and radio stations. The results will also be available online, allowing candidates and parents to access them from the comfort of their homes.
