Oyesigye emphasized that the donations were not merely items, but expressions of hope, care, and solidarity as part of UBTEB’s Corporate Social Responsibility. “Each contribution reflects our kindness and generosity as an organization that recognizes the importance of empowering children and creating opportunities for them to thrive,” he added.
The UBTEB Executive Secretary also took the opportunity to express his heartfelt appreciation to all who made the donation possible, including partners, Reproductive Health Uganda, and the UWESO team. “To our partners, Reproductive Health Uganda, UBTEB takes pride in your continuous partnerships in advancing the call for positive and Healthy living, and abstinence in our efforts to prevent and control HIV/AIDS among the teenagers,” he said.
Oyesigye also commended the UWESO team for their dedication to the welfare of children, saying, “Your dedication to the welfare of children is truly inspiring, and we are honored to be a part of your mission.”
The donated items are expected to bring comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging to the children who will receive them. As Oyesigye noted, “More importantly, I hope they will serve as a reminder that they are valued, loved, and capable of achieving greatness as they grow to pursue their dream careers.”
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in UBTEB’s commitment to supporting vulnerable children and promoting social causes. As Oyesigye concluded, “Let us continue to work together to uplift and empower those in need in order to build a brighter future for all. Together, we can make a difference—one step, one act of kindness, and one life at a time. We pledge our commitment to continue to champion social causes to advance the plight of Ugandans through partnership and collaborations.”
