Museveni promotes, transfers 7 UPDF Commanders

KAMPALA – President Yoweri Museveni has transferred, posted and promoted seven Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces Generals.

They include;

1. Maj Gen Samuel Kawaga transferred to Nairobi as Defence Advisor
2. Brig Gen Joseph Semwanga appointed Commander of UPDF 1st Division
3. Brig Gen David Mugisha of 3rd Division appointed Commander SFC
4. Brig Gen Felix Busizoori appointed 3rd Division Second in Command
5. Lt Col Allan Matsiko promoted to Colonel
6. Maj Dancun Kafeero promoted to Lt Col
7. Col Herbert Nabimanya tranfered from SFC to Land Forces
