KAMPALA – The government has allowed Boda Bodas to move up to 6:00 PM and and strictly carry only one passenger or cargo.
The announcement was done by President Museveni who is currently addressing the nation on coronavirus from the State House.
Museveni has ordered that both passenger and rider must wear face masks.
He also said that curfew time is maintained from 7:00 PM to 5: 30 AM.
“All people except the security personnel and other people allowed to move should be in their homes.”
He said that full opening up, continuation of full lockdown and partial opening up were the options we considered.
“If we fully opened up, according to scientists, we would have about 5,000 cases per week, sending us into a third wave.”
Much of the proceeds should go to the inventors of the drugs.
