KAMPALA —Chillies Fast Food and Takeaway is helping Police detectives investigate the death of a worker at its Ntinda Branch.

Chillies Fast Food and Takeaway in a statement on Friday said one of their employees was found dead on Wednesday 31 2021.

Ntinda Branch which has since been closed off to provide way for investigations is one of Chillies Fast Food and Takeaway busiest branches.

“With profound sadness, we confirm that an employee of Chillies Fast Foods and Takeaway was found dead on the morning of Wednesday 31 March 2021 at our Ntinda branch ” Chillies Fast Food and Takeaway said in a statement, adding that, “We have
reported the matter to police who are already investigating the incident”.

Officials who have already provided the police with CCTV recordings from the site said they company is committed to collaborating with the police to the full extent of the law.

“We are supporting the family of the deceased with burial arrangements and other necessary
assistance that may be required during these dreadful times. We are also working closely with the bereaved family to assist the police with the investigations.”

The company did not confirm the cause of the man’s death, but regretted the loss of one of its own and conveyed deepest condolences to the family.
