KAMPALA – The persistent water crisis in the Naalya Estates is now a problem of yesterday as the team from SOGEA SATOM concluded laying the DN 700 around Nalya Mogas Petrol station which had interrupted supply to DN 150 that feeds our customers in the estates

On Thursday, a team from NWSC Head Office headed by Director Engineering Services- Eng. Alex Gisagara, Eng. Herbert Mujuni…, Manager Kyaliwajjala and the branch Engineer spent the entire afternoon at the site with the SOGEA team to ensure the completion of the Nalya Mogas issue.

The project had dragged on because Mogas Petral Station was built in a swampy area, thus the need for much more time for proper segmentation so as to safely lay through the DN 700. “It’s for this reason that the entire process delayed a little bit hence affecting reliable water supply to Nalya estates.”

Eng. Alex assured customers through a press interview in Nalya estates and the surrounding areas on how water supply was going to normalize with effect from tonight.

He further thanked customers for the continuous support they have rendered to us and also for constantly paying their bills on time.

The Director engineering services also assured the customers on how Katosi will be a serious game-changer upon completion and that customers in Naalya and the surrounding areas should bare with us for now as we are working around the clock to ensure its completion.

Nwsc is committed to clean safe water for all by a delighted workforce.
