GULU – Ms Harriet Aber, a popular farming investor in Northern Uganda has been found dead at her home in Gulu.
Family sources told this website that Ms Aber, an associate of the Gen. Salim Saleh, the commander of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC), was discovered lifeless in her bed in the wee hours of Wednesday by her young children.
“The children alerted their Auntie, a one Isabella and she discovered her lifeless,” Family sources said on Wednesday.
Details of the causes of her death are still scanty but Ms Aber rose to prominence when she invested heavily in farming projects in Nwoya and Amuru, with some of her projects attracting land conflict.
She appeared before Justice Catherine Bamugemereire’s land probe and cleared the air about her projects.
The police and army have cordoned off her home in Kisubi, near the UPDF division 4 headquarters in Gulu.
