KAMPALA – President Museveni has on Thursday named Justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny-Dollo as Chief Justice.
Justice Dollo replaces Justice Bart Katureebe who left the position in June, after clocking the retirement age.
The President has also named Justice Richard Buteera as Deputy Chief Justice and acting Chief Justice, sources said on Thursday.
Justice Dollo has been the substantive deputy Chief Justice and held the position of CJ in acting position since June when Justice Katureebe left the position.
