MP Kato Lubwama in intensive care amid persistent health concerns

KAMPALA – The Member of Parliament for Rubaga South in Kampala, Mr Kato Lubwama, is currently in intensive care at at Medipal Hospital, a private health facility in Kampala, amid concerns over his persistent health problems.

Mr Lubwama, also a popular comedian and radio presenter, has been in and out of hospital since 2014 when he was diagnosed with a heart disease.

And last Wednesday, the legislator was rushed to hospital where he has been ever since.

However, health workers close to the legislator said he is in a stable condition.

Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko on Wednesday visited the ailing legislator.

“I have visited my comrade Hon Kato Lubwama who is in the Intensive Care Unit of Medipal Hospital Acacia Avenue for the last 4 days. I wish him a quick recovery,” he said.

In 2014, Kato Lubwama was hospitalized at Uganda Heart Institute (UHI), Mulago after he was diagnosed with triple vessels disease.
