YAMOUSSOUKRO – Eddy Kenzo has dismissed as total fabrication reports that he has been admitted to hospital in Ivory Coast with coronavirus symptoms.
On Sunday, April 5, a picture circulating on social media showed Kenzo on a hospital bed amid reports that the artiste had acquired the deadly virus that has spread all over the world. Kenzo has been stranded in the Ivory Coast following the closure of air travel over coronavirus.
But the globally acclaimed artiste has since clarified that he was admitted with severe ulcers and is in a stable condition.
He also accused his friend and blogger Ashburn Kato of spreading the false news.
Below is his statement
“Nayogedeko ne Kato last evening yabadde ne idea about helping our people with small money via mobile money and I told him it’s a good idea but I couldn’t talk much because I was in hospital and I sent him a picture aleme kulowoza nti mulimba. I also told him that I’m sick but sagala kanga bantu because we have enough problems going on.
