JOHANNESBURG – People Power supporters in South Africa are in panic mode after one of their colleagues went missing mysteriously.

Aloysious Saabwe, the coordinator of People Power in Johannesburg went missing on Friday morning January 28, 2020, according to his friends and fellow People Power members.

According to his best friend Katumba Richard, all his known telephone numbers are off, and he is not at his home.

“He has always been receiving threatening phone calls from private numbers, asking him to either quit People Power or risk losing his life,” Katumba added

Saabwe was last seen by his colleagues on the 28th/January/2020, at Vanderbijl Park Village in Gauteng Province in Johannesburg, South Africa, at a meeting he called to brief his fellow People Power leaders in the area, about their political activities a head of the 2021 general elections, through which they wish to have People Power Presidential Candidate, and Member of Parliament for Kyaddondo East Constituency Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, voted as the 10th President of the Republic of Uganda.

Saabwe is among several vibrant People Power activists, who were put behind bars in 2018 during the “TOJIKWATAKO” demonstrations, which resulted from Government’s intent to remove Article 102b from the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, to pave way for life-long presidency for President Yoweri Museveni to prolong his rule, after 35 years in power.
