New Supreme Court Registrar tasks court staff on professionalism

KAMPALA – The new Supreme Court Deputy Registrar, Mr Lawrence Tweyanze, has urged all court staff to exhibit professionalism in their work.

Addressing staff during a meeting early this week, Mr Tweyanze emphasized the need to dress professionally, displaying their identity cards at all times as well as maintaining time management.

“I am very blunt and it has helped me. So I want openness. I operate on an open-door policy,” he said

He said it was important for the court to have a customer care desk so as to attend to the court’s clients in an organized manner.

Mr Tweyanze also revealed plans to procure a van to ease transporting of court staff. He also revealed that there is a plan to organise an exhibition where the court will showcase what they have been doing.

Ag. Assistant Registrar, Esther Rebecca Nasambu encouraged staff to consider upgrading do as to remain relevant in the workspace.

She also revealed that there are plans to train all staff at the court in the next quarter.
