West Nile police lectured on Public Order Management

ARUA – Selected officers from districts across the West Nile Region have on January 6, 2020, started a course on Public Order Management.

The course taking place at Mvara Senior Secondary School is expected to run for three weeks.

Participants comprise of both commanders and junior officers from the districts of Arua, Maracha, Koboko, Madi- Okollo, Nebbi, Zombo and Pakwach.

Selected Regional Heads of Departments are also attending the course.

According to SP Angucia Josephine, the West Nile police spokesperson, by the end of the course, the officers are expected to acquire more skills and knowledge on Public Order Management in order to become more professional in the execution of their duties in the face of the public.
