Minister Rwamirama has handed over Veterans affairs office (PHOTO/Courtesy).

KAMPALA — Hon Lt Col (Rtd) Bright Rwamirama has on January 6 handed over office of Veteran Affairs to Christopher Kyibazanga.

At a ceremony held at Mbuya Headquarters, Hon Adolf Mwesige the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs commended Hon Rwamirama for pioneering the standing up of the Department of Veteran Affairs.

 

Minister Rwamirama was recently appointed minister of State for Animal and Veterinary Affairs. He was replaced by Kibazanga Christopher.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Lt Gen Wilson Mbadi, UPDF Service Commanders, Mrs Edith Buturo who represented the Permanent Secretary, General Officers and Senior Ministry Officials among others.
