KAMPALA – Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) President Dr Kizza Besigye and Erias Lukwago, the Kampala Lord Mayor have on Saturday, January 11 joined mourners for the requiem mass of late Margret Nansujje, mother to Jinja Municipality MP Paul Mwiru at Christ the King Church in Kampala.

Nansujje, a long-time political Activist and advocate of good governance and social justice passed away at 72 years.

From her base in Jinja, Nansujje committed herself to political activism and taking care of children and orphans; desiring to see political change in Uganda and supporting children.

Dr Besigye saluted the late Nansujje for generous selfless contribution to the struggle and committed to work with Mwiru to see that Margret’s children she was taking care are not deprived.
