KAMPALA —Musician Bebe Cool real name Moses Ssali has on Wednesday November 6 claimed to have made Bobi Wine as an artiste way back in the days when they both lived in the Ghetto.

Bebe Cool was appearing on NBS Television’s morning breeze where he also showered praises to Kyadondo MP Robert Kyagulanyi, who he also described an inspiration to the youth.

“I made Bobi Wine because I nurtured him. I was the first to live in the ghetto and basically I am the best to talk about the ghetto,” Bebe Cool said.

On Buchaman appointment to represent the Ghetto, Bebe Cool said that he may be quiet but Buchaman isn’t more popular than him.

“Make no mistake. That’s why you invited me and not him. I can speak like an intellectual for people who live in Kololo as well as for those who sleep in the ghetto,” he said.

“I single-handedly brought Buchaman to Kampala and recruited him to the Firebase Crew”.

The singer also explained his love for long serving president— President Kaguta Museveni.

Bebe Cool said he has supported Mr. Museveni for 25 years —heavily investing in the party.

“This would be the time for the President to repay me,” he said.

“The President has bought me a new car, he paid by medical bills when I was sick and also agreed to fund my proposal. But you should remember that I have invested in the party for 25 years. I sang on two campaign trails for free and also made several songs,” Bebe Cool said.

Asked to describe Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool without hesitation said the Kyadondo legislator is trying out his luck and also trying to inspire some Ugandans.

However, he was quick to refer to him as selfish who only misleads a number of young Ugandans into the protests as his family lives large and comfortable in Kampala.
