Bus overturns as tired driver sleeps

KASESE – A bus belonging to Link Bus Company heading from Bwera in Kasese to Kampala has on Thursday morning overturned following the allegations that the driver was sleeping.

The bus that had over 60 passengers on board rolled off the road several times some 22 Kms to Mityana.

Some of the passengers said the driver asked to be allowed to rest because he was tired and needed some sleep but the boss told him to drive back the passengers lest they lose them!

According to witnesses, no life was lost immediately, however, there have been several nasty Injuries and victims bleeding reported.
