KAMPALA – Buganda’s Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga will be the celebrity of the night at the 7th edition of ‘Meet the Boss’ Buganda edition that will be held at Kingdom Kampala this Friday, September 20.

This year’s edition will focus on culture and commerce as one of the ways to promote and unite people without disregarding Buganda kingdom’s core values.

Speaking to PML Daily, Mr. Philbert Kagangure, directors at Uptown Group who are part of the event’s organisers has revealed that this platform is aimed at creating mentorship and spotlighting individuals in society that have created a social change.

“The Katikiro of Buganda has been a perfect example of leaders and this has been manifested in his involvement in various projects that have had positive value to the kingdom and its people.

Buganda contributes 70 percent of the business capital in the country and has been a hinge in investment through tourism, industrialization, business, agriculture among others,” he stated.

“Through Buganda people have had an opportunity to unite for one common cause and this should be passed on to the business world. The boss of the night is very appreciated by the youth for his love, friendliness, guidance and motivation to them,” he added.

Conducted in partnership with Majestic Brands, a commercial division for Buganda Kingdom.

They will also be appreciating business leaders behind “Buganda Tweziimbe” such as  Omuk. Freeman Kiyimba and Chairman Godfrey Kirumura.

Notably, there have been a series that included; Oil & Gas, Women in Business and other personalities like the former French Ambassador H.E Stephanie Rivoal, Oscar Kihika, Simon Kasyate, and others.

The entrance fee to this networking event will cost patrons-only UGX 100,000.
