PHOTOS: Kadaga donates over 200 mattresses and delivery beds to health facilities, computers to schools

KAMULI – On Saturday 10, the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga spent a greater part of the day in Kamuli district visiting schools and health centers where she donated 205 mattresses and delivery beds to health facilities.

The beneficiaries included: Bugulumbya HC3, Kasambira HC2, Buwoya HC2, Ntale Clinic, Mirembe clinic, Nawandyo HC2, Bupadhengo HC2.

The speaker also gave out 18 computers to schools.

Kadaga also pledged to help in the fight against theft of medical equipment which the residents said is rampant.

“Kamuli residents informed me of the problem of theft of medical equipment which they said is rampant. I’m taking interest in this and will follow up with the concerned authorities and police. This must come to a stop,” she said.
